First we took Jack to get his "back to school" hair cut He did so good! He just sat in his Choo-Choo and followed directions. He even smiled and laughed this time! I think he was showing off for Grandma :) Then Grandma came over and had a "jam" session with Jack! The played dueling guitar, sang songs, and played the recorder :) Daddy came home at lunchtime and then the two mommies got to finally hang out together! We used to get to do it at least once a year, it has been at least 2 years since we have had a girls day! So we went to the Museum of Contemporary Art for Tuesdays on the Terrace. Neither of us had every been so it was a special treat! It is free admission on Tuesdays for IL residents. They have a buffet dinner and live jazz on the terrace. The weather was perfect! It was an absolutely wonderful day! xoxox
