Taking advantage of a nice day

Busy Busy day! We started with the usual trip to "punch, punch, kick" (kickboxing at the gym :) 

Then we ran back, packed up a lunch (in his Lightening McQueen lunch box. He was the one who planned the day, and that part was included :) We walked to the zoo. First we ate lunch by the pond and watched the Geese. Then we slowly walked/climbed on any rock we could find, to the gorillas. There we actually got to see the zookeepers do a training demonstration with the Silverback! All the gorillas were super active. It was awesome! On our walk home we stopped to watch a softball game (Jack is really into all sports right now! Notice the 3 different sports items he wears throughout the day) After a much needed nap, for BOTH of us, we headed out for ice cream, the park, and pizza! No one had trouble falling asleep that night!
