Spring Break finale...

As expected, the park was packed!
That's why I love Chicago, as soon as it hits the 40s, everyone is out and about and so happy!

Our summer tradition...
Wishful thinking :)

Spring Break activties

A visit with baby Scarlett!
Scarlett loooves Jack!

The Skokie Exploritorium
Great find by Maggie! It is like a mini Children's Museum at the Skokie park district. Jack passed out as soon as we got home :)

Look Papa, I'm fishing!

 My little scientist exploring magnets

 More fishing!

I was so proud of Jack! The first time he went into the enourmous climbing toy he cried.
Eventually  he tried it again and LOVED it! He was so proud of himself for being able to do it- "look mommy, I did it!" I am very happy that he is the type of person that keeps trying when something is hard for him, and he doesn't give up. I think it is a great quality for success in life. Another reason I think he's awsome :)

A tunnel under the waterfall!
(although he looks more like an alien in a spacecraft :)

Giant "light brite"
J for Jack

Sabina's "homework" for me is to have Jack do activities to strengthen his hand muscles so that he can be able to use scissors more effectively. One way is to use an eye dropper. So we "painted" bread. It was a great activity! He is also hammering Play-Doh, and using Play-Doh scissors.

Yeay, finally it was "warm" enough for a bike ride to the park!

Jack was really good at "punch punch kick" (the day care when I go to kickboxing) so I treated him to a burger and Shamrock shake for lunch. This is the only time I've taken him other than on the way to Shawno, so it was a big deal! Plus, mommy loves Shamrock shakes!
