Continued....

Building with Dad!

4/19
Jack finally says "mama"!!
John stayed home with Jack on Wednesday because I had to stay late for a chorus concert at work. John was so cute, he said he spent the day trying to teach Jack to say mama. He would point to the picture of the 3 of us and John would say, Daddy, Mama, and Jack over and over. He said he also sang a "mama" song all day. Well...the next day I was in the kitchen getting breakfast ready and he came in and called me Mama! Yeay! We made a huge deal over it! Since then it is hit or miss, but he if calls me something else I remind him it's Mama and then he will say it ;-) Anyone who knows me, knows this is a huge deal! I am so happy! Thanks Daddy for all your hard work and dedication, it worked!

Other new things:
Car! (he says it with such intensity too! And loves pointing them out as we drive!)
today Jack was playing cars with daddy and was repeating him when he would say "Awesome"!
Yes (it is getting much clearer. Before he would nod his head and say "aye" like as in "all in favor say I")
Sabina said that when she asked him where his shoes were he said "I don't  know"! I'm pretty sure that's what he says at home too, so I guess it's confirmed!
He also says "Let's Go!"
And counts the floors in the elevator: He points at the numbers as they go up or down and "counts"

 Sick Day!
Poor Jack had another fever and virus. But, as usual, he was still his happy self!
Nothin' gets this guy down! :)

Notice, he also doesn't lose his appetite!

Night before, right before we went to the Doctor.... super snugly.

He's a fast learner, and LOVES music!

I'm love my backpack! I feel so grownup!

Ok, let's go, doggie and monkey!

New "words":

baby "de-de" "tsy-tsy" (or something like that-hard to write it:)
blanket/blankie (it sounds very similar to his word for baby...?)
trying "more please" with signing "more"
Sabina said he said "sunshine"in a song they were singing
I'm trying out car, he'll repeat it, but not always use it
Still no mommy.... ;-)

the Swifter

he dances-does the moves he learns at Sabina's (I'm a Seed)

At his Dr. appointment he got his Hepatitis A shot...and DIDN'T cry!!!
His last ear infection was "better".

Easter 2012: At the Deyerlers!

Dying and decorating Easter eggs.
Rooky mom: I bought BROWN eggs! So we could really only use the dark blue and even that didn't show really well. And of course, most of our house is brown, so.....hunting for them the next day was a little challenging! Ha!
Also, noticed how extremely blue his hands are!

(The Easter egg hunt is all on video. It didn't really last very long ;)

More attempts at a family photo!
Lookin' good :)

Uncle John and Genevieve!
Happy 1st Easter!

Grandma with Jack!

(hmmm John looks good with a baby girl :)

The Carlsons, with baby Genevieve! (Jack is still a little skeptical :)

Notice Jack is feeding his baby too :)

Playing with their new cars from the Deyerler Easter Bunny!

It was a BEAUTIFUL Easter Day!

Hey guys, a little help with the swing....
