First Beach Day!

 I had a Dr appointment so I had to take the day off. Conveniently it was on the hottest/most beautiful day of the year! It was a blast!

Just gotta love it.....

I took him to the gym with me while I did kickboxing (punch punch kick). After  I picked him up at the "daycare" he decided he needed to stretch too "mommy. look streching" 

 Post workout treat :) It was a beautiful day for a walk and frozen snack

 On our walk home on Wells street we cut through Burton. He was obsessed with the fountain. "look mommy, BIG water!" I taught him how to throw pennies in and make a wish. Then he pretty much just took the opportunity to get soaked :)

"I DID IT!"

 Jack's game: put his hands in the water and chase mommy to get her wet. "I gotchu mommy!"

SUPER WHY!!!

WOW! What an experience! This was one of the best family outings ever! Jack was so excited for it, even though he didn't even know what he was doing yet :) I told him we were going to see Super Why sing and dance, and when we first got to the theater HE started dancing! "Look mommy, Uper Why dancing, right?" I think he thought that HE was supposed to be dancing :) 

As soon as the show started...he was entranced. The best experience as a parent is watching the joy on your child's face. I get that now. John and I spent most of the show starring at Jack's face/reactions. (well, and singing along since we knew all the words!) We were both smiling ear to ear. 

Then, when we got home, he immediately starting dancing and talking about Super Why! He even insisted on sleeping with his Super Why cape that Mimi made him for his birthday! The first thing he talked about when he woke up was all the characters on the show. He even insisted on wearing the whole outfit! mask and all! It was all truly amazing! He was so into it.

 The whole thing brought John and I so much joy.

 Boy, our concert going experiences sure have changed! :) (it was really hard to get good photos in the dark..and of course missed every time he was singing and dancing and laughing)

The morning after...

Ignore me in the video :) I am trying to take the video on the phone in the reverse mode so that he can see himself. He tends to interact with it better. The down side, I look weird just starring with an unflattering half smile into the camera the whole time :)

Easter!

Decorating eggs. Jack was actually much better at it this year! (and mom didn't buy brown eggs this time :) His favorite part is putting on the stickers. Dad was super serious about his egg dying :)

 Egg Hunt! He even thanked the Easter Bunny in the middle of finding his eggs :)

Our neighbors sort of "adopted" Jack, he's like the 10th floor mascot :)

So they hid Easter eggs in the hallway with an Easter basket! How sweet is that?! He sure is one loved boy!

So that was another hunt after church!

 Check it out! Mom actually made her first Easter ham dinner! I wanted to try it out even though we had one in LaPorte. But It was so fun and so good! I felt so grown up :)

We didn't dress up though :) But Jack loved it!
