Christmas with the Deyerler's! 12/22/12

We are all very busy this year, so we had Christmas "early" this year. Jack will be going on his first plane trip to see cousin Kaylee (and the rest of the family :) in AZ on the 26th. So we decided to take it easy on Christmas this year ;) Busy holiday season! So wonderful!

Santa....

Jack's favorite part is getting dressed up like daddy and riding the escalators! :)

Our first attempt, I was late. But he LOVED the escalators! He thought THAT was seeing Santa :) This time he had a great time UNTIL we saw Santa :) He cried at first, then tried to put on a brave face for Mommy and Daddy. He did get a stuffed Snowman and he was happy with that. Plus, MORE escalators on the way back to the car!

 The following weekend was very rainy so we stayed in and made Gingerbread houses for Family Day. We listened to Christmas songs and had all the Christmas lights on. Very warm and festive for all. 

Every year Sabina has a Christmas party too. They decorate "gingerbread" houses as well. This year Jack was totally into it! What a difference a year makes. Last year he was just a tiny guy, mostly getting a sugar buzz from candy. This year he waited until his house was done to do that :)
