Great Papa had extra tickets so we figured...why not!? That way, even if we just go for a short time we didn't waste money! So, I waited until he woke up from his nap and then took the bus. So, we got to the field in the 5th inning. It was that perfect amount of time. He was just about to lose it in the 9th so we left. As we were waiting for the bus outside of the gate, everyone was filing out and the Go Cubs Go anthem was playing! I think Jack must have given them good luck because, go figure, they WON! Jack was totally into it as soon as we sat down. The ladies next to us were so impressed! He clapped when he was supposed to, he counted down for the pitcher to throw the ball (one, three, seven, three, seven...), and he waited patiently for each play. SO cute! Like I said, we were there the right amount of time. Any longer would have been too much. So it was the perfect First Cubs Game experience!!
