Air and Water Show

While we were at home watching from the window, and while we were walking to the beach Jack was super interested! Pointing to the sky and yelling "WHOA!" But then when we got to the beach and sat down the big loud jet came through and scared him with it's super sonic boom! He kept crawling in my lap :) He was still interested, pointing to the planes and getting excited. It was just the loud ones that scared him a little. We did make letters out of the smoke trail left by the smaller planes. That was fun! Then he thought they were cool again on our walk home and when we got home :) I think he was confused why they were at "his" beach. He kept wanting to play like normal: go in the wa-wa and sit in holes in the sand. But then all of a sudden there would be a loud roar in the sky. So, I decided to leave so that I didn't scar him from going to the beach, or from planes. We are going to watch it from Papa and Patricia's this weekend, so maybe that will be a better place for him....I am still glad we went, because overall I think it was a good experience. It is great to be able to go on a Friday-it is the practice day. They did the whole show, but there are less crowds. So we can be literally in the water playing with the planes right over us!

The weather is absolutely amazing this weekend, 

so we went to the park when Jack was done with the planes...
