Photos/Updates

New Words/communication:
boat (right in time for Shawno!)
bull (makes horns on his head)
tree (Where did the birdie go? Oh there it is, in the tree)
At the Farm he would say "hi cow" and "moo" he would also try to say hi to the other animals, but the other names were a little less clear. He says "Woof Woof" to identify a lot of the animals he doesn't know. He says "meow" and "quack" as well. And makes the "whoo-whoo" siren noise for trucks that resemble emergency vehicles.
bus (he loves riding it!)
"oh-tay?" When he hears someone sneeze, cough, or cry he asks them if they are ok :) it's soooo sweet! He will also say "I'm o-tay" when he falls but isn't hurt.
fish
turtle
shovel

He is using his words to get what he wants. Up, Down, Help, Water, Please, More, Milk. Always says thank you!

He will say "I love you" without prompting, which is amazing!

He is starting to ask for hugs and kisses without being "told" to give them (August)

He is obsessed with the letter O!! He is starting to get better at E, A,  I, R and W (he literally wakes up from his naps chanting "there's an O, there's an O" over and over super fast!?!?! :)

He says "eye" or something that sounds like "my eye" when he is tired while he rubs his eyes like a sleepy little guy does :)

He can sort of put two words together. I can tell he is putting independent thoughts together. Like, if he sees a truck that looks like an ambulance, first he'll say (it's a whoo whoo) "es-a-whoo-whoo" then when he realizes it isn't he'll say "no, es-no-a-whoo-whoo". Or if he is looking for me (or daddy) he will say Where is Mama "es Mama?" and when he sees me he will say There she is, it's Mama "ere, es-is. Es Mama!"

Today we were at Maggie's and she has some plastic fruit you can cut with a knife. One was an eggplant and said, "es a pu-ple" (purple)-August

My favorite new thing he does: The ice cream truck passes the park (of course!) and he stops and runs to the gate and dances!!! The first time he did it I was cracking up and video taped it! Then he ran up to the gate and waved good-bye! Now he does it whenever a white van passes by :)

Awwwwe.... daddy and Jack snuggle time. Melts mommy's heart...
