Chicago Hot Dog Fest!
John and I are swtiching off spending alone time wth Jack. It is really helping. During the summers Jack and Mommy spend a lot of time together. Yesterday I took him to the Hot Dog fest. It got a lot bigger this year! With inflatables, a train, and basketball! Jack's heaven! It finally felt like the old Jack and Mommy days. I really needed that. I'm sure he did too. Today John took him to swimming. in the last week daddy took him Mini-golfing and to the movies as well.

Cousins!
While I was still recovering Jack and I would take very short walks together. We called them "adventures" and he was "captain". He decided which ways we would walk. We neever had a destination, and the "adventure" was taking "secrect ways" aka the alleys :) That has also helped. Slowly byt surely we will get the groove!
