Jack was the look out while we waited 2 hours for the tow truck!
Notice he is loving every minute of my car nightmare :)
Jack is obsessed with tow trucks (rightly so since he is well versed in them, as well as mechanics)
The AAA man was so wonderful to Jack, they were buddies! He let Jack push down on the levers that lifted the Jeep onto the back of the flatbed tow truck! He let him turn on the lights, and he got to ride in the front seat! The guy even gave him a little toy tow truck. Jack smiled from ear to ear the entire time! I guess it pays to be the cutest-nicest boy in the world! :)
The happy ending is that after at least 4 times at the shop, they finally fixed the part. Then they told me that because I have been so patient, they are not charging me for anything! Jason and Jordan at Won's Auto Werks are amazing! I guess it pays to be one of the nice guys :)
Of course, I had to make the best of the 2 days out of work:
It is "The Week of the Child". Sabina had a whole week full of fun activities in honor of the kids. They were taking a "field trip" to the nearby Dunken Doughts. I felt bad that Jack was missing it, so, twist my arm, we took a walking "field trip" there too :)
And as always during warm weather, we went to the beach!
Of course, I had to make the best of the 2 days out of work:
